Perception Institute announces the release of its new TRIGGER
VISION Visual Training System compact disk. This self-loading
CD provides individualized visual training formerly available only to professionals
and amateur organizations that could afford the previously high cost. This
new, improved, and affordable CD provides the same training at a fraction of
the cost, and it runs on your own personal computer.
API has trained thousands of players in professional, college, high school and individual sports using projectors and films in a “group setting." The training for groups previously ran upward to $5,000.00 and we had to train personnel to operate the program. Now, with the availability of personal computers, each player can work at his own speed and be challenged at his own ability level for a nominal price. Our goal is to train recognition skills, that is to the train the eyes to recognize images faster so that more time is provided for decision making and also to train the eyes to move faster and more controlled so more “looks” can take place with faster and more accurate visual skills. We have also added a “Scatter Target” and "Right-to-Left" ocular Training drill. These new features provide training in vertical movement, as well as horizontal movement, and help develop a faster right-to-left sweep movement of the eyes. Players at all levels of ability can be accommodated from junior leagues to the Professionals. Just insert the TRIGGER VISION Visual Training System disk (for Windows) in your CD drive and it will install the TRIGGER VISION program along with several supporting files.
